Sony’s flagship earbuds just dropped to $258 on Amazon — $72 off the $330 list price and the cheapest they’ve ever been, according to deal tracking this week. If you’ve been waiting to upgrade, this is the moment.

The review consensus is about as strong as it gets. RTINGS calls the XM6 the best noise-cancelling earbuds they’ve tested. SoundGuys named them the best overall earbuds of 2026, and What Hi-Fi picked them as their 2026 flagship choice. The new QN3e chip plus foam ear tips deliver genuinely class-leading ANC, call quality is excellent thanks to an 8-mic array and bone-conduction sensor, and you get 8-hour battery life, LDAC hi-res audio, and a 10-band EQ for tuning the warm, balanced sound.

Who’s it for? Commuters, frequent flyers, open-office survivors — anyone who wants top-tier silence without paying Apple’s prices. At $258, a premium flagship is sitting at mid-range money heading into the holidays.
